Soft yarn, mixed feelings
I use the yarn for NICU blankets for Knots of Love, and I also make chemo hats for cancer patients. It has softness and yarn holds up well. So far, I would rate it a 5
Any baby will absolutely adore something made with Plymouth Dreambaby DK Paintpot! This DK weight yarn is so unbelievably soft—it's perfect for next-to-skin garments or blankets. Dreambaby DK Paintpot is a smooshy blend of acrylic microfiber and nylon, an easy-care blend that's machine washable and tumble dry-able.

I do a LOT of knitting for babies and this is a lovely, soft, washable yarn which has become my "go to" for children. For the first (and hopefully last) time I had a quality issue with one 50g skein which was quickly and satisfactorily resolved at WEBS. If this happens again I would consider lowering my rating to 4 stars but see no need to downgrade at this time.
I enjoy working with Plymouth yarns and having fun using the Dreambaby DK Paintpot yarn for baby hats and blankets-----to send up to my local NICU unit where I worked for years before retiring. The colors are beautiful, and I hope to buy more of this yarn in the future.
I made a baby sweater, booties and a hat with 2 skeins of this yarn. They came out really cute. I was happy with the softness of the yarn for the baby’s skin. I got this yarn because it will be easy to care for.
I use this yarn to make hats for the NICU. It makes really soft hats and there are wonderful colors to choose from.
Loved the colors I ordered----and enjoyed working with the yarn and how it handled and worked up. Just disappointed I can't find this yarn now on Webs? Have you discontinued it? I'd really appreciate an answer to this, so I know what to do in the future. Thanks!!
This yarn is soft and lovely to knit with. The colors are pretty. Not too bright for a baby blanket.
I purchased the yarn for a friend who makes baby hats for the local hospital newborn babies ! Loved the beautiful patterns that emerged!
pretty colors...knits up nice with the pattern in the yarn fiber. very soft yarn to touch! only downside is they are out of stock w another shade I wanted...otherwise great experience. making the baby sweater for my colleague nurse friend who is having her first baby.
This sock yarn works into a beautiful, soft baby hat. It’s my favorite.
