Pocket Pals

Take these adorable Pocket Pals with you on your adventures and add some fun to a keychain, backpack or handbag. With this knitting pattern you can knit a set of five animal characters: Rabbit, Cat, Bear, Panda and Dog. Each is quick to knit and would make a lovely gift. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, each animal is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round), although a few pieces are i-cord which is a knitted tube worked on two DPNs. The cat and dog collars are single crochet chains, or you can use a length of ribbon or yarn instead. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
