Pride Festival Bag

Carried on the shoulder or as a lanyard round the neck, this colourful bag will be handy holiday and festival favourite for stashing your passport or phone. This bag is knitted in a garter slip stitch pattern; with 2 colours this creates a pattern colourful dots, and also makes a textured dense fabric to protect your items from dings and bangs. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the bag is knitted in DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). The loop for the toggle is a single crochet chain worked on a hook, or you could use a length of yarn or ribbon instead. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off slipping stitches, and seaming to finish. The body of bag is 13cm wide x 16cm tall, and the strap is 65cm long (un-stretched).
