Wonderful yarn. Love alpaca! Knitting Arne and Carlos pattern REIN. The white “reindeer” islands out from the deep blue of the sweater. However, the white easily picks up the blue, to look dirty. Fuzzy!? And the yarn does have thick and thin spots; not good to unravel and start over to create clean image! Still and all…I love this yarn….!

This is beautiful ! Currently double stranding Feather Grey melange & Coastal melange for a broad scarf/shawl. It is so soft and a joy to knit with I am already wanting to buy more to knit a sweater! ❤️ Rowan Alpaca Classic ❤️
Color isn't what I expected
I LOVE the yarn, but the digital image makes the color look charcoal gray, which is what I expected. Unfortunately, it's a nave blue. I have things I can wear with this color, but I was disappointed.

Everything about this yarn is wonderful, I'm making a "Temperature" shawl and the range of colors available is staggering and so useful! Also a light weight yet non slippery feel to the way this yarn gets knit up is so delightful, I love it. The blend is perfection! If I have to go back and fix something the stitches stay put, instead of falling out if the needle comes out, it's really nice. Using some PYM needles too, a joy all around!

It's not suitable for my project because it's too fine and the color is not quite right. At this point I am busy knitting and will be for a while.
