What is Being Made

The Rowan Camilla is a classic knitted sweater designed by Martin Storey, available in a striped colorway version. The sweater is tailored to fit bust measurements ranging from 71–76 cm (28–30 inches) up to 152–157 cm (60–62 inches), making it suitable for a wide range of sizes.

Construction Techniques

The Camilla is constructed using a bottom-up, seamed approach, meaning pieces are knitted separately from the lower edges upward and then joined together. The garment is worked flat on straight needles for the body and sleeves, with the exception of the neckline, which is worked in the round using a circular needle. The design features raglan armhole shaping, a classic tailoring technique that creates diagonal seams running from the underarm to the neckline, providing a comfortable fit and elegant silhouette.
