Techniques Used

Bottom-up construction: The Rowan Chios is worked from the bottom upward, a traditional approach that allows knitters to try on the garment as it progresses and easily adjust length before completing the shoulders and neckline.

Worked flat: Rather than being knitted in the round, this sweater is constructed using flat knitting techniques on straight needles, with seams sewn together to join the pieces. This method provides excellent stitch definition and control over shaping.
