I'm making the Cello top. The combination of cotton and cashmere should be wonderful for the summer. It has a very different feel than my usual wool. I like the nice stitches and it is easy to work with.

With the cashmere in the yarn, I thought this Rowan cotton/cashmere yarn would be softer. Yet, it feels like other 100% cotton yarn. I’m not impressed given the cost of the yarn. Luckily I bought it on sale so I’ll keep the yarn but I’m underwhelmed. Katia cashmere/cotton yarn is softer and costs less, but unfortunately doesn’t have the color selection as Rowan.

I always use the yarn specified by the project. Never been disappointed and no headaches trying to find and make a substitution work. This yarn feels like cotton. Perfect for summer.

The yarn required by the project. Therefore it’s perfect. Not sure there is enough cashmere to justify calling it cotton cashmere. It’s 85/15%. It may be a tad softer. Basically looks, feels and knits like cotton. It will be a nice summer sweater. I’m not disappointed and recommend it.
