Rowan Hushed is a knitted sweater designed by Lisa Richardson, available in five sizes to fit bust measurements from 81–127 cm (32–50 inches). The finished garment features actual bust measurements ranging from 120–160 cm (47¼–63 inches), offering a comfortable, relaxed fit. This pullover-style sweater is crafted as a cohesive piece combining lace patterning with classic sweater construction.

Techniques Used

This design employs several key knitting techniques to create its finished structure:

Materials: Yarn and Needles

Rowan Hushed is designed to be worked using Rowan Island Blend yarn in the 50gm weight. The pattern requires 12–16 balls depending on size selection (photographed in Island Blend White 900). The recommended needle size is 4mm (US 6), with the pattern specifying one pair of 4mm needles for flat sections and a 4mm circular needle no longer than 120 cm for worked-in-the-round sections. The tension is set at 21 stitches and 28 rows to 10 cm when measured over stockinette stitch using 4mm needles, ensuring consistent sizing across all five garment sizes.
