I like this yarn when I’m knitting with mohair. The color selection is pretty good.
The yarn is wonderfully soft. However, it is very fine. I can no longer knit on needles smaller than a 7, so I am knitting with two strands. This makes using #8 needles workable. However, the yarn tends to tangle a bit, so it was quite difficult to cast on. Now that I am just knitting straight (no complicated pattern), it is working well and looks lovely.
KSH is my go to yarn too hold together with a lace weight or fingering weight yarn to add halo and warmth. Although it’s expensive, I keep a stash on hand for luxury shawl projects. Lovely yarn.
It’s like knitting with hairy thread & difficult to rip out, but it’s beautiful made up & so soft
The kidsilk is a wonderful yarn. I will enjoy working with it once I finish my current project. The staff at Webs were very communicative and helpful. I highly recommend them.
For a custom wedding veil.
