Product Details
Nate, a simple children's pullover knit in Rowan Pure Wool Superwash Worsted, is a great pattern for beginning sweater knitters. Worked mostly in stockinette stitch, this sweater features a contrasting ridge pattern, deep rib stand up collar and raglan sleeves. Nate is knit flat in pieces from the bottom up and seamed.

Finished Measurements: 14 (15, 15½, 16½, 17)” width
Yarn Requirements: 3 (3, 4, 4, 4) skeins Rowan Pure Wool Superwash Worsted (100% Superwash Wool' 100g/219yds), shown in #134 Seville
Needles:
US 6 (4.00mm) straights
US 7 (4.50mm) straights
Gauge: 20 sts and 25 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch on larger needles

Recent reviews
An ideal easy-to-knit and stylish boys sweater pattern. Using Rowan’s Superwash worsted makes it functional as well. However, rather than following the pattern to knit all the pieces separately, I would recommend knitting the front and back in the round with the recommended shaping for the sleeves, and knitting the sleeves separately.
