Construction Method and Techniques

This cowl employs a specialized bottom-up, seamless construction worked entirely in the round using circular needles. The mobius technique requires a special cast-on method, for which a video tutorial is provided with the pattern. The construction is distinctive in that you begin knitting from the middle of the cowl, simultaneously creating one round above and one round below the starting point as you progress.

The pattern incorporates two-color striping throughout, alternating between Rowan Alpaca yarns in two complementary shades. Color changes occur at regular intervals, creating visual interest and dimension in the finished piece. Each complete round consists of 202 stitches, representing two rings of knitting.
