What Is Being Made

The Saltonstall is a cozy A-line cardigan designed by Alison Green as part of the Haverhill Collection. This knitted garment features an optional attached scarf, making it a versatile layering piece perfect for wrapping yourself in to keep off the chill. The cardigan is available in seven sizes ranging from XS to 3X, with finished bust measurements from 29 ¾ inches (75.5 cm) to 53 ¾ inches (136.5 cm) and lengths from 23 ¾ inches (60.5 cm) to 27 ¾ inches (70.5 cm).

Techniques Used

This cardigan employs a combination of flat and circular knitting techniques. The body is worked flat on straight needles, while the sleeves are worked in the round using double-point needles. This mixed approach allows for efficient construction of different garment sections.
