The sweater is available in seven sizes ranging from XS to XXL, with finished bust circumferences from 38 inches to 54 inches, accommodating a wide range of body types and fit preferences.

Construction Techniques

Cather is constructed using a bottom-up, seamed, worked-flat method. The garment is knitted in separate pieces rather than in the round, which allows for precise shaping and control over the fit. The body begins with a Garter Stitch hem at the lower edge, transitioning into stockinette stitch for the main body. An elongated short row shaping technique is worked into the back piece to create a tailored fit across the shoulders and upper back. Sleeves are worked flat beginning with a Garter Stitch cuff, then set in and seamed to the body using a traditional seaming method. The collar is picked up from the neckline and worked in the round, finished with Garter Stitch for a refined edge.

The yarn is worked at a gauge of 19 stitches and 32 rows over 4 inches in stockinette stitch after blocking, using size 6 (4 mm) needles for the main fabric. A size 5 (3.75 mm) circular needle measuring 16 inches is used for the collar worked in the round. Additional tools include stitch holders for managing stitches during construction, a spare size 6 needle for the 3-Needle Bind-Off technique, and a tapestry needle for seaming and weaving in ends.
