What is Being Made

Craft and Techniques

This is a knitting project rated at intermediate skill level. The mittens are worked in the round using the magic loop or circular needle method with double-pointed needles, which allows for seamless construction. The pattern includes fundamental intermediate techniques such as working ribbed sections, managing stitch markers, and shaping with increases and decreases.

The thumb gusset is created using strategic M1R (make one right) and M1L (make one left) increases worked over multiple rounds to gradually expand the stitch count.
