Product Description
Create your own striped colorway, using this crescent-shaped stole with its wide bias ribs and knit-in fringe as your canvas. Use a couple of colors or a lot of them. Make your stripes narrow or wide or mix them up.
Construction: Work stole in two sections and grafted near the center. Change colors or cut yarn every two rows, using loose ends to make up the fringe.
Gauge: 25 stitches and 28 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch.
Skills used: Increases and decreases, wide rib, Kitchener stitch.
Pattern includes: Written instructions, pictures and suggestions for choosing colors and stripes, and supplementary charts to help keep track of initial increases, decreases and ribs.
