Spring Bonnet Collection

This cute collection of bonnets are all made with two granny squares then slip stitched together to form a bonnet, then crochet a ribbed edging and ties.

Instructions included for all four styles.

Written in US terms with abbreviations for UK

0-6 months to fit 40cm / 15.75 inch head 6-12 months to fit 41-46 cm / 16.25 / 18 inch head 1-4 years to fit 47 - 50 cm 18.5 / 19.75 inch head

I used King Cole cottonsoft DK yarn (100g ball is 210 metres) Less than one ball for each bonnet 3 and 4mm crochet hooks

Gauge Square With 4mm hook Row 1: Ch12, dc in 4th ch from hook and each chain across. (9) Turn Rows 2-4: ch1, dc in base of ch1, dc 8. (9) Turn

Square should measure 2 inch wide by 2 inch tall.
