Yarn: Loft by Brooklyn Tweed (100% Targhee-Columbia wool; 275 yds [251 m] / 50 g) Main Color (MC): Foothills—2 skeins Contrast Color (CC): Pumpernickel—2 skeins Or 550 yards of fingering weight yarn in MC and CC each
Recommended Substitute: Fine Tweed by Rowan (100% wool; 98 yds/25g); 6 skeins each Litton and Keld
Needles: One 32” or 40” circular needle (circ) in size US 5 [3.75mm] Or size needed to obtain gauge Note: body of shawl is worked flat; circular needle is suggested to accommodate large number of stitches
