The DK instructions cover chest sizes of 16″, 18″ and 20″, with options for a 22″ chest in Aran and a 24″ chest in Chunky. Use the yarn and needle sizes below, following the instructions indicated for your chosen size.
Chest sizes, yarn and needles:
- 16″ chest: DK yarn with 3.25mm and 4mm needles.
- 18″ chest: DK yarn with 3.25mm and 4mm needles.
- 20″ chest: DK yarn with 3.75mm and 4.5mm needles. Follow the 18″ instructions.
- 22″ chest: Aran yarn with 4mm and 5mm needles. Follow the 18″ instructions.
- 24″ chest: Chunky yarn with 5mm and 6mm needles. Follow the 18″ instructions.
Yarn required for the cardigan:
- 16″ chest: approximately 100g of DK.
- 18″ chest: approximately 120g of DK.
- 20″ chest: approximately 120g of DK.
- 22″ chest: 200g of Aran.
- 24″ chest: 200g of Chunky.
