Product Description
Sumu is a classic V-neck cardigan with delicate flower embroidery on the shoulders. The cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down. The upper body is worked first. When the raglan- and V-neck increases are complete, sleeve stitches are placed on hold and the body is worked towards the hem, adding a slight A-shaping. Sleeve stitches are then placed back on the needles and the sleeves are worked in the round towards the cuffs. Tubular bind-off adds a nice finishing touch to the ribbed edges and button band (photo tutorial for the bind-off included).
Designed to be worn with approximately 5 ½ -6 ¼” / 13.5-15.5 cm of positive ease. Shown in size S.
GAUGE 18.5 sts and 28 rows in Stockinette stitch using larger needles = 4” / 10 cm after washing and blocking. Use the needle size that gives you the correct gauge.
