Product Description
Wear this coverup at the beach, pool or anywhere! Pair it with a swim suit, or leggings and a cami, or even a halter dress. The alpaca/linen/silk blend yarn is perfect for when you need a little something to keep the chill at bay, or just to relax in.
The alternating panels of Arrowhead Lace and Little Arrowhead Lace create a pattern that appears to be more complex than it actually is. With a four-row repeat, these classic patterns are easy to memorize. The front and back are worked exactly the same, with no shaping other than to add a few stitches at each neck and armhole edge to create rolled edges. Although the lacing is intended for the back—allowing for a dramatic deep-front V-neck—you can easily wear the coverup with the lacing in front and a deep plunging, back neck opening.
No seams other than 3-Needle BO means quick finishing. The ties shown were made using a method called Eyelet Cast On, found in June Hemmons Hiatt's book The Principles of Knitting.
