Techniques Used

The Regiment Sweater employs a combination of knitting techniques to achieve its distinctive construction and fit. US size 8 (5 mm) circular needles in 32-inch and 16-inch sizes and US size 8 (5 mm) straight needles are also required, allowing for gauge adjustment as needed. Additional supplies include stitch markers, stitch holders or waste yarn for holding stitches, and a yarn needle for weaving in ends and seaming. The recommended gauge is 4¾ stitches and 7 rounds over 4 inches in stockinette stitch, making accurate gauge checking essential for achieving the desired fit.
