Tahki cotton yarn is easy to work with and has great color and shine. The cost is definitely a strong point - at less than $5/ skein it is quite reasonable. There are a large array if colors to choose from as well!

Lovely to work with! I’m making a cotton cardigan and it’s coming out really well.
Pure cotton can be tricky to knit with even tension. This yarn proves it. I have to purchase special bamboo needles to help keep the yarn from slipping. That said, the colors are very rich and will make an adorable baby sweater.
I loved using Tahki cotton classic yarn. Unfortunately, the brand has been DISCONTINUED. I finally found the final few skeins (specific colors) I needed for my project. I'm so disappointed.
I love the fell of this yarn and the vibrant color.
I love this yarn, but am disappointed that so many of the colors continue to be out of stock. I need to order more!
I'm using it for a collar for a collar-less coat I bought. It looks better with the collar. Everything worked well and the collar draped as I needed it to. It is a grey green slightly darker than the coat. I don't have a way to photo it.
I love cotton classic because it’s the only cotton yarn that has a beautiful feel and luster. It also has “strength “ for holding its shape. Most cotton yarns are too soft. I am knitting yarmulkes and always use this yarn because it looks & feels beautiful. Also, they have a great selection of colors. I knit the yarmulke in picture and used iron on patch which is staying on with no problems. I owned a yarn shop and also was a sales rep in the yarn industry and always loved cotton classic !
I use Tahki yarns mainly for weaving. In this last case it was for a cowl I wove for my sister-in-law. I combined the Tahki yarn with a cotton yarn in both the warp and weft. I found that 8 dpi worked best; and surprisingly, plain weave seemed to drape better and give a better appearance than 2/2 twill. I especially like the color combinations in the yarn itself. Lovely yarn!
I love this yarn for babies’ and children’s projects. The colors are bright and do not fade after washing. I have made many baby blankets and children’s sweaters and have never been disappointed with the results.
