The substantial dimensions make it suitable for layering over shoulders or draping as a sophisticated accessory.

Techniques Used

This shawl is worked flat using traditional knitting techniques combined with lace construction. The pattern employs lace knitting as the primary design method, creating an open, airy fabric characteristic of shawlettes and wraps. The shawl is finished with crocheted fringe applied along the short and shaped edges, with fringe placement at each corner and halfway between corners for balanced embellishment.
