Product Description
On sale at 25% off for June 2017! A Tangram is a type of puzzle made of flat shapes that the player puts together to create new shapes and pictures. The Tangram Shawl uses 3 triangles to form a seamless, trapezoid-shaped wrap that is a bit of a puzzle to tell which direction(s) it was knit from.
Perfect for people who like to knit triangle shawls, but aren’t particularly into wearing triangle shawls:)
You’ll begin by knitting 2 small identical triangle shawls (each outward from the garter tab CO). Some of the sts on each of the first 2 triangles will be left live, and a construction tutorial guides you as you use these live sts to work a 3rd triangle in between the first two.
It’s geeky, geometric, knitting fun, and the 2-color garter stitch (yes, that’s 2 colors even in the lighter colored shawl!) makes for a relaxing knit, while the mesh lace portions give it even more visual interest
