Product Description
…the BERLIN KNITS sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down. The body is worked in garter st with cute old shale pattern stripes right before the bottom ribbing, sleeves are worked in St st. The neck is shaped by working short-rows back & forth. Then the yoke is worked in the round with raglan increases. When the yoke shaping is complete, the sleeve sts are placed on hold and the underarm sts are cast on, using your preferred cast on method. Then the body is worked in the round to the ribbing with an A-line shaping. Then sleeve sts are picked up again to work the sleeves top down in the round to the end. As this jumper is worked from the top down it is advisable to try it on from time to time to check the length & overall fit. The length & width of the yoke are easily adjustable by adding/ reducing increases, or adding/ reducing underarm sts.
