Inspired by England’s stunning northwest region with its deep blue lakes and sheep-grazed fells and valleys, Fibre Company Cumbria is a lustrous blend of brown wool from the English Masham sheep breed, fine South American Merino wool and Argentine mohair. The resulting light brown-grey shade is then over-dyed, creating lovely, deep, saturated colours. Cumbria is a staple yarn, perfect for garments and accessories.
Note: While there are dye lots listed for these yarns, there can be variances even within dye lots. We strongly recommend that you alternate skeins as you work to give an overall blended appearance.

I have enjoyed knitting with this yarn. It is perfect for the vest I am making. It is a little scratchy, but since it will be worn over a top, it will be perfect.
