Product Description
Tundra is an incredibly soft, bulky weight alpaca blend in dazzling colors. The alpaca keeps Tundra warm, merino wool adds resiliency, and a touch of silk gives sheen and a hint of drape to the finished fabric. This gorgeous addition to the Fibre Company's line of yarns has two plies and a slight halo effect. Tundra is perfect for one-skein accessories as well as sweaters and cold weather items.
Note: While there are dye lots listed for these yarns, there can be variances even within dye lots. We strongly recommend that you alternate skeins as you work to give an overall blended appearance.

I have just finished 20 Tundra hats, a Tundra jacket and I could not be happier using this GORGEOUS Tundra yarn! The colors are spectacular! I have a BIG wish for the Fibre Company to produce a jet black Tundra color. And I have some experience in dying yarns. Black is very easy to produce. My hats, my tunics would fly off the shelf! It would be a bonus for me and a financial gold mine for the Fibre Company. Please do think about it. Jet-Black with the same amount of silk... Thank you, my label...
