Wonderful colors and feel.
The colors in the Copper dye are magnificent. The yarn is super soft and has a wonderful drape. I loved it so much I am ordering more to make a sweater. It crochets well, with no knobs or uneven fibers.

Bloomsbury DK is a beautiful silky soft DK weight yarn, spun from the softest merino wool. This hand-dyed yarn is perfect for knitting cosy sweaters and scarves and will knit to any DK weight pattern. Bloomsbury has a wonderfully soft handle that is luxuriously gentle on the skin, and suitable for all types of knitting and crochet. The final spun thread has been plied together with just enough twist to prevent pilling but to allow the fabric to softly drape.
The 10 launch colours have been personally designed by Irish designer Carol Feller. Known for designing knitwear that is well shaped, flattering to wear and enjoyable to knit Carol likes to work with different construction methods, so long as they enhance the knitting experience. Carol has divided the palette into three sets of colours that work well together and enhance each other: Blues, Fall and Fuchsia.

This yarn is gorgeous. The color is beautiful and it’s a pleasure to crochet with it - no splitting, broken or tangled yarn. I used it to make a throw (about 42” x 45”). Because it’s hand dyed and the color isn’t exactly the same throughout I stranded the yarn alternating 2 rows of one skein and then 2 rows of another.
This yarn is gorgeous in every way. The color is stunning and it’s a pleasure to work with. Feels great doesn’t split. Love it!
I took a chance on this yarn since I had never purchased this brand before, but I’m very glad I did. It’s excellent! So soft, I double checked the label, because it felt too unbelievably soft to be pure wool, but it is. The color is just as depicted, and if they had had more in stock, I would have purchased enough to make a second sweater. Although soft, it still knits up reliably - no splitting and it is very consistent in weight throughout the skein. I’m keeping an eye out for more.
I have quite a few of these yarns. They are all smooth, strong, and very subtle dyed. In a project they seem to take up more room on a needle that their doneness would permit, which is a good thing in my mind!
