Tilework Cardigan

Set-in sleeve cardigan with a flattering scoop neckline and a band of tulips running along the bottom and sleeves. Gentle waist shaping provides a slightly tailored look. Perfect for winter with a pencil skirt (in leather, perhaps?) and boots, it will take you into spring worn over a cute vintage dress. The tulip motif was inspired by the colors and designs on traditional Turkish tile work.

The cardigan is worked in one piece from the bottom up to the armholes; fronts and back are worked separately from the armhole. Sleeves are worked in the round to the underarm, then flat for the armhole shaping, and sewn in.
