Product Description
Large, slightly asymmetric shawl, worked seamlessly in two sections. Striped section is worked first. Stitches for Solid section are then picked up from the short side of the Striped section. You can use four contrasting colors as the sample or less. You can even use only two colors, the solid color and a self-striping yarn as the contrasting color. The imagination is your only limit, have fun!
YARN: The sample is worked in Tukuwool Fingering (213 yds / 195 m per 50 g skein, 100 % wool). If you'd like to substitute the yarn, you'll need Fingering-weight yarn, approximately: 850 yds / 777 m MC, 130 yds / 119 m CC1, 110 yds / 101 m CC2, 100 yds / 92 m CC3 and 90 yds / 82 m CC4.
NEEDLES & NOTIONS: size 6 US / 4 mm circular needle, row counter, tapestry needle to weave in the yarn ends.
GAUGE: 20 sts and 40 rows in Garter stitch = 4” / 10 cm.
