Product Description
Tower of Strength A cute skirt using a 3-colour combination of stranded knitting. It is knitted in the round from the top-down, so you can work it to your desired length. Mix & match colours to create your own piece of originality.
This skirt is designed to fit close against the body and the waistband sits just above the high hip - about 7” (17.75cm) above full hip. The waistband is supported by a thin elastic cord that is woven into stitches using a yarn needle.
The colours are worked 2 strands at a time (like Fair Isle), stacking up in a comb-like formation. The nature of stranded knitting creates a thick and firm fabric and with some yarns can also allow for tremendous elasticity.
