What is Being Made

This is an intermediate-level knitted toy owl designed to be approximately 7 inches tall with a 13-inch circumference after stuffing. The project creates a three-dimensional stuffed animal featuring a main body, contrasting belly panel, feet, and facial details. Techniques Used

The toy owl construction employs several fundamental knitting techniques suitable for intermediate crafters. The body is created using in-the-round knitting on double-pointed needles, beginning with a small cast-on that is gradually increased through multiple increase rounds to build the cylindrical body shape. The piece then transitions to decreasing rounds to close the top of the owl after the body reaches its full height.
