Laundering Caution! Dry Clean Recommended

By

from Hillsborough, NH

Pros

  • Attractive Texture
  • Nice Hand

Cons

  • Label Recommends Dryclean
  • Looses Lustre In Handwash

Best Uses

  • Infrequently Washable

Comments about true Phoenix Print:

Note that the label for this yarn actually says "Dry Cleaning Recommended" first. Then "Hand Wash in cool water with no detergents". So I tested a sample in warm water and with a bit of dish soap since this is how most of my handwovens scarves are finished. The yarn lost most of its appeal. So be wary and sample before you use this in any project. And if you don't like dry cleaning, I'd avoid it for knitwear.
