The Soffio Cashmere yarn (65% Wool 30% Cashmere 5% Nylon) is very soft to the touch and feels incredibly luxurious when knit up. But I would not recommend it for beginner knitters—it is not forgiving if you need to rip out and re-knit, as it sticks to itself like a glued spider web and will become felted very easily. I would say I am an intermediate knitter, and I was trying to add sleeves to a vest without a pattern (not at all smart) and it was incredibly frustrating to wing it and to keep...
