Product Description
Tricsi fastens with one button & is knitted in one piece from a provisional cast-on at the centre back collar down to the hem, collar, front bands & all.
(See Tric for an adult version)
Step-by-step instructions & a photo tutorial guide you through the unusual beginning, zigging, zagging & zipping back & forth before you're sooner at the hem than you'd thought.
There are, unnecessarily one might think for a child cardigan, short-rowed shoulders. There is a reason – apart from the fact that a child, too, might deserve a more tailored garment at times. The idea was that Tricsi would closely echo my adult cardigans & sweaters, a sort of trial run for knitters who may want to try out the Ziggurat Method before committing to the adult size.
Shown in Madelinetosh Merino DK. A suggested substitute is below.
