While the color changes might look intimidating, the technique becomes rhythmic after after the first few rounds and ensures you’ll be left with only a couple of ends to weave in. This basic plaid pattern uses all half double crochet and can be easily modified to create a different plaid or gingham look by simply choosing a light (or white), medium and dark shade of the same color.
