I love this yarn. The cotton and bamboo balance out each other's week points. It feels better and better with wearing and washing, and it's not too splitty. There was a knot in the middle of one skein. It happens. No big deal. EXCEPT: the yarn on one side of the knot was 12-ply Bamboo Pop, and the yarn on the other side is the knot is some unidentified 3-ply that looks and feels like 100% cotton. I don't know if you can see it in the photo, but I'm totally baffled and had to order another skein to complete my sweater, and of course it's a different dye lot. Ugh!
I live in the same state as Webs, (Mass.) but they sent my order to Jacksonville first, it took over one week to arrive.
Universal Yarn Bamboo Pop is very soft and has no fuzzy fiber like the worsted weight cotton yarns. I think it’s more sports weight than dk. You definitely need to check your gauge and adjust your needle size. It has beautiful drape, texture, and light weight with a nice sheen.
Bamboo pop is incredibly soft and easy tho knit a perfect piece of clothing
I love this yarn as an option for summer knits. It knits up so nicely with great stitch definition and even a bit of stretch which makes it more enjoyable than knitting with cotton. The resulting fabric has beautiful drape and a cool feel.
