The yarn is great quality and doesn't easily fray or separate. Color is as expected. It was hard for me to tell the size from the pictures/description, so I'll say it's VERY thin. This picture has it next to a 4-ply cotton/acrylic blend for comparison. The strand is about half the size, or slightly larger than half.
The Merino Mini yarn was perfect for the corgi mittens I knitted. With a Latvia-like pattern, and a cute corgi on the front, this yarn worked up beautifully.
Wonderfully soft and knits up beautifully. I am knitting mittens with a two color pattern. They will be warm but not overly thick.
