cozies knit in Haydenville DK. Choose from two different cable patterns to show
your support of Safe
Passage, an organization, known for the Northampton Hot
Chocolate Run. These cozies are a quick and simple handmade gift that everyone
will enjoy and use! The mug cozy is knit as a single strip with garter stitch
edging. Haydenville DK has a gentle sheen and crisp stitch definition that's
ideal for cables and colorwork. This machine-washable yarn is excellent for
this project! The cable patterns are charted and written out.

Sizes: To fit mugs with 10½ (12½)” circumference
Finished Measurements:
Hugs and Kisses – 3¾” high and 8 (10½)” long
Hearts – 3 (3¾)” high and 8 (10½)” long
Yarn Requirements: 1 skein Valley Yarns Haydenville DK (60% Superwash Merino/ 40% Acrylic Microfiber; 50g/136yds) shown in 23 Blue and 10 Red Note: One skein allows you to make 2–3 cozies, depending on sizes.
Needles: US 5 (3.75mm) single points and DPN for I-cord
Gauge: 28 sts and 30 rows = 4” in Hugs and Kisses or Hearts cable pattern, blocked
