Valley Yarns Capella is a fun and colorful women’s capelet knit in Hardwick, an amazingly soft blend of alpaca, wool, and silk with a loosely plied, thick/ thin 2-ply structure. The accessory is the perfect layering piece just in time for cool spring days. Capella features graphic stranded colorwork motifs using three contrast colors knit in the round seamlessly from the bottom up with a loose ribbed turtleneck. Needles:
     US 8 (5.00mm) 16” and 32–60” circulars for ribbed hem and neck
     US 9 (5.50mm) 16–24” and 32–60” circulars to get gauge
     US size 10 (6.00mm) 16–24” and 32–60” circulars, only if necessary to maintain gauge over stranded colorwork
Gauge:
     16 sts and 22 rnds = 4” in stockinette stitch on US 9 (5.50mm), blocked
     16 sts and 19 rnds = 4” in colorwork pattern on US 10 (6.00mm), blocked
