Product Description
Valley Yarns Linen Valance is a crisp window dressing with lace panels
that is a great project to try linen for the first time. The simple design
alternates solid and lace panels with beads woven in along the bottom edge. The
heavier accent thread also creates built-in loops for hanging the valance on a rod.
Equipment: Loom - 4 shaft, minimum 18” weaving width, 1 boat shuttle, 1 bobbin, 1 stick shuttle, 24 beads (any size that can be strung on a doubled strand of 10/2 linen)
Warp Yarn: 1,515 yards Valley Yarns 40/2 Linen (100% linen; 6000 yds/lb) shown in Half-Bleach
Weft Yarn:
914 yards Valley Yarns 40/2 Linen (100% Linen, 6000 yds/lb) shown in Half-Bleach
52 yards Valley Yarns 10/2 Linen (100% Linen, 1500 yds/lb) shown in Half-Bleach
