A beautiful yarn, has a sheen except for the heather colors, relatively strong, a little heavy for lace weight but not *********. Not a lot of stretch and bounce from the wool. I have knit several garments from this yarn as it is a bargain and I like to knit from a cone. I lie to hold it together with the alpaca silk, makes a great light but cozy fabric. Light pilling on some of the older garments but I wear them a lot. I wish it came in more colors.

Beautiful hand. Sticky so thick sett was not such a good idea but beautiful as both warp and weft.

Bought to hold with linen/cotton blend. Works beautifully for that purpose.

The warp broke in at least 65 spots!

The yarn purchased was faulty. I dressed my loom with 8 yards of two different colors of this yarn. One color, red wine heather has 65 broken warp ends! The time loss and waste of the yarn that didn’t break is hard to accept. Webs replaced the red wine heather but the project has been so disappointing.

I could not do my review right away because I had to work with it first. So far, the Merino Tencel has been wonderful to work with and easy to weave....a little bit of sticking on the shedd, but that's to be expected with wool content. I love the richness of the colors!
