Modern Monk's Belt Placemats are absolutely stunning pieces made with a deceptively simple two-shuttle Monk's Belt structure on a four-shaft loom. The hems are designed to be perfectly reversible, so each mat has two distinct, usable sides' giving you two placemats for the price of one weave! This design is in WIF format, so weavers can electronically store and modify weaving drafts, display them graphically with weaving software, and use them to drive computer-assisted looms.
