Product Description
This easy 4-shaft twill pattern can be treadled two ways to make coordinating towels. You can change warp colors for each towel or add stripes to make a unique set. Put on a 5-yard warp and make five towels in a short period of time. These towels are great to have on hand for hostess gifts!
Equipment: 4-shaft loom, 22" weaving width; 8 or 10 - dent reed; 1 shuttle and 1 bobbin per color
Yarn: Brassard 8/2 Cottolin, (60% Organic Cotton/ 40% Linen ; 3360 yds/lb; 1680 yds/ 8 oz. tube)
Warp Yarn: Natural #0100 - 2320 yards for 5-yard warp to make 5 towels)
Weft Yarn: 385 yds for each towel. Colors shown are Cherry #5096, Mauve #5153, Turquoise #1510
Warp length: 464 ends (includes 2 floating selvedges), 5 yards long
Sett: 22 epi (2-3-3-3 in 8-dent reed; 2-2-2-3 in 10-dent reed)
