This is a beautiful yarn. I've never had knots or any other inconsistencies on the cone. It's lovely to weave with and projects made with it are beautiful.

Valley Yarns 60/2 Silk 250g is a staple of the Valley Yarns line that produces an exquisite woven fabric with excellent drape. Dyed in two dozen lustrous colors, 60/2 silk is the height of luxury—perfect for elegant wraps and heirloom-quality garments.
60/2 silk runs 14,800 yards per pound and is put up on approximately 8.8 oz. cones.Sett: 48-60 epi. Set at 48 epi, it makes spectacular woven fabrics. For a heavier fabric with a coarser set, you can double it. Consider two or more colors together for very interesting color work.

This yarn is sold in whole cones (or tubes). Wind-offs are not available for this yarn.
