I really like the feel of this yarn. It is not wound together tight so you must be careful not to split the yarn when knitting. I will definitely knit with it again.
making a blanket (for myself for once) and fading from one color of Hawley to another. I love these colors, nicest yarn feel ever, a delight to knit with. The silk makes it great.
Great yarn to work with!
I'm a multi-decade knitter but I'm to do my first crochet ptoject with this fun yarn. It has a pleasant, very slightly nubby texture and the colors are GORGEOUS (ash, terracotta and charcoal in my case). Yarn balls are on the smaller end with 135 yards but I'm pleased with the fiber blend, which incidentally stays round for good stitch definition
I love the texture
Nice cotton/silk blend. Making a light lacy summer sweater. It's not smooth, but rather like a chenille or textured yarn. Color and weight are perfect for this project
The silk in this yarn makes it feel lovely. It is also very nice to work with. Don't know how it looks yet, still knitting
I'm hoping between the fiber content and the weight that this yarn will make a light layering vest for fall. The yarn is soft to touch but no stretch so I'm knitting for shorter periods of time to avoid hand fatigue.
This yarn is nice to knit with, and creates a very soft fabric. However, I have noticed some specks of dye of a different color in my yarn. I ordered Sandstone, but there are a few random pink or orange spots that make my knitting look stained.
I'm loving the way this yarn is working up for my crocheted shrug. The yarn is very lightweight so the finished shrug will be perfect for summer. The texture is slightly ""nubbly"" which works well with the pattern I'm using. And I like the color (wheat) - a little more yellow than I expected but very pretty.
