Comments about true Sunderland:

My daughter is allergic to wool, but this beautiful soft alpaca is hypoallergenic. The green color is perfect for the mermaid tail blanket. It's like the sea.

      Comments about true Sunderland:

I bought Sunderland along with Deerfield, both are called DK weight. I wanted to use them together but the Sunderland seems closer to a fingering weight than a DK! It's soft and yummy but I can't use them together, too much of a difference!

        Comments about true Sunderland:

Knit a scarf using Forest & had to get more for a pullover - SO soft, next to skin wearable. Stitches nice & balanced & cables are easy to knit (yarn isn't splitty). If you like cashmere but not the $, I suggest trying Sunderland.

          Comments about true Sunderland:

I am currently knitting a stranded colorwork hat with this yarn using KP Dreamz 16" circular needles. I have never felt a yarn this soft, yet it is very strong and rarely splits. The fabric it produces has a slight halo. I will definitely purchase this yarn for another project.
