Another winner!

By

Comments about true Sunderland:

Another winner from Valley Yarn! I've knitted many garments with their yarns, and have never been disappointed. Sunderland is no different. It is soft (but not necessarily feminine) and knits up beautifully. Exceptional quality and well priced.

The colors are a little different than the photos but lovely nevertheless. The yarn is soft, tight and works up well.

Easy to weave, good quality, colors are bright. No knots in any of the yarn, and I will purchase more to make a table runner for the holidays.

    Comments about true Sunderland:

Love the yarn. Got it in straw harvest color, though I will say it looks more like an orange spice color than a yellowish straw color like the stock photo shows. Feels like a true DK weight. Still very lovely, so incredibly soft, just wish there could be more yardage to it. Can't wait to get working with it!

My daughter is allergic to wool, but this beautiful soft alpaca is hypoallergenic. The green color is perfect for the mermaid tail blanket. It's like the sea.

        Comments about true Sunderland:

I bought Sunderland along with Deerfield, both are called DK weight. I wanted to use them together but the Sunderland seems closer to a fingering weight than a DK! It's soft and yummy but I can't use them together, too much of a difference!

          Comments about true Sunderland:

Knit a scarf using Forest & had to get more for a pullover - SO soft, next to skin wearable. Stitches nice & balanced & cables are easy to knit (yarn isn't splitty). If you like cashmere but not the $, I suggest trying Sunderland.

            Comments about true Sunderland:

I am currently knitting a stranded colorwork hat with this yarn using KP Dreamz 16" circular needles. I have never felt a yarn this soft, yet it is very strong and rarely splits. The fabric it produces has a slight halo. I will definitely purchase this yarn for another project.
