Valley Yarns Taconic Yarn - Merino Wool Chunky

Taconic is, to date, one of the easiest yarns to work with and I’m absolutely smitten with how soft and cozy it works up and how much of a joy it is to handle. The texture of the finished fabric has a lovely natural drape and looks great in many different stitch patterns. A word to the rough of hand: be sure to take care not to pull too hard on a strand, as it is not terribly difficult to break if you aren’t watching your tension. I am making a vest with it. It is a well constructed yarn and knits up easily. The blue is a medium blue but there are slubs of white throughout. Quite charming.

Love the quality, my only issue is in one of balls of wool there were several joins of wool, I find that unacceptable
