I love Westfield yarn! I love everything about it - from the next-to-the-skin, soft-as-a-cloud fiber combo of Merino, Silk and Yak, to its spongy warmth and color selection. Westfield is a breeze to work with. I love to pamper me with comfort and style, and Westfield yarn is a great way to do just that. Scrumptious! I love Valley Yarns, and so chose Westfield for a shawl project. I know from past experience that I won’t be disappointed with the yarn, because Valley Yarns are always beautiful to work with. And they are reasonably priced!
The yarn is lovely, it works up so nicely, l have ordered is twice. Both of my scarfs are eye catching.
This is my favorite yarn ever. It is so soft, and it works up so beautifully. I've ordered it in half a dozen colors. I've made fingerless gloves and a sweater so far, and if I could just wear this yarn forever I would be happy.
Yarn is beautiful, arrives quickly. I have purchased from them 3 or 4 times with no complaints. The yarn can be expensive, but the sales bring it down to reasonable. I really love the Valley Yarns especially.
Westfield is one of the most scrumptious yarns I've ever worked with. The sophisticated muted colors add to the luxury experience.
I love this yarn. I love the texture, I love the way it works up, I love the colors. I love the softness. I've made mittens and I'm working on a cardigan. One thing that took a little bit to get used to is that an extremely fine fiber (I assume silk?) often separates while I'm working with it. I literally thought I had a stray hair that got caught into my project. After the 5th or 6th time I realized that it wasn't my hair, it was part of the yarn, and it didn't seem to be actually coming apart, just lifting away for a couple of inches. Can we get more colors? Ombres or other variegated colors? And maybe larger yarn balls?
This time I bought yarn that has yak in it. I can't wait to work with it.
Nice and soft warn, can't wait to work with it.
This is a soft smooth yarn; however out of 14 skeins there was either a knot or a big fluff of wool that required cutting out in about 12 of them. In some I was able to tease the fluff out . I prefer a longer length skein. The color I chose...lichen....was much darker, but that may be my computer!
