Lovely yarn with great definition

I was looking for a yarn for Olive Knits knit along that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I was drawn to the sage color of this yarn, which is a match for the suggested yarn weight. The color was totally accurate on the screen to what I received. I have liked the combo of wool, silk, and alpaca in the past, so I was pretty sure wool, silk, and yak would be the same lovely soft yarn. And it is! I am loving how it feels and looks as I knitted up my swatch. I love the definition and that it looks...

My all-time favorite yarn

It is beautiful to work with. I made a sweater for my great-niece. It never splits, and the yarn knits into a garment that is wonderful to wear and admired by everyone who sees it. It would be just as easy to work with and as lovely as a finished product if crocheted. I love, love this yarn. It is definitely one of my all-time favorite yarns. I'm very happy with it; it is soft and beautiful. My plan is to make it in a larger size for her so she has it in a few years, using this same yarn. I...

This is my favorite yarn ever. It is so soft, and it works up so beautifully. I've ordered it in half a dozen colors. I've made fingerless gloves and a sweater so far, and if I could just wear this yarn forever I would be happy.

This was my first experience with Valley Yarns. A friend of mine uses this yarns for sweaters. I am making fingerless gloves with this DK yarn and very pleased with the quality and cost of this product. It is a superwash wool, 20% silk and yak. I wish I discovered this yarn earlier.

Lovely yarn that is easy to knit. It had minimal defects/knots. My cabled sweater is next to the skin soft with a nice drape. I have yet to be disappointed in a Valley Yarns yarn. This was my first time using Westfield and I would not hesitate to use it again.

Loved the color I chose. Using this wool for a shawl and it’s knitting up beautifully. The pattern is very defined. Although this is a heavier weight than I’ve used for shawls in the past the stitch definition is showing up well. Would use this yarn again.

I love Westfield yarn! I love everything about it - from the next-to-the-skin, soft-as-a-cloud fiber combo of Merino, Silk and Yak, to its spongy warmth and color selection. Westfield is a breeze to work with. I love to pamper me with comfort and style, and Westfield yarn is a great way to do just that. Scrumptious! Westfield is a lovely yarn to knit with, it is soft and warm.I love that the silk and yak take up the dye differently than the wool, giving the yarn a very subtle sheen and depth. I am ordering my third batch today. I did have one extremely large slub (a big mass of 5 inches) that I found when starting a ball, thankfully), 2 of ten balls in my first order had a knot midway. Did not believe the knot problem large enough to downgrade for 4 stars. The price point is excellent.

This yarn is a pleasure to work with. It feels great in your hands and the stitches show beautifly. I've bought it several times and have been pleased with the results every time.

The yarn is incredibly soft, but still has good definition. Blocks like a dream.
