This yarn is really nice. It is soft and even softer after blocking. I am making Bowhall with it and the cables just look beautiful. It did not grow or shrink with blocking. I made gauge with size 3 for ribbing and size 6 for the main cable pattern. It does get a bit fuzzier after blocking, so I hope it doesn't pill. I got 18 skeins. I have rewound the first 8 and found 2 with knots, (2 knots in one). The skeins are short to start with (120 yards) so I am going to have a lot of ends to weave in and it is frustrating that I have even more to weave in due to knots. I got the ""natural"" color and it is actually light brown, not cream like the picture on the site. It is the right size for a DK yarn. But overall a beautiful yarn and I would give it 4 out of 5 stars (knots!!!).
Beautiful color. Very soft.
Great quality, soft and well made. The color ""Natural"" I would describe as a medium taupe-gray.
I used this for one of the hats from the National parks book. It's very pleasant to work with and blocks beautifully. I just wish they had more colors.
Very soft but solid slate color, not at all heathered as shown. Returning was very easy although I can't afford to keep making poor choices and paying shipping both ways.
This yarn is just beautiful - it feels soft, has a great stitch definition and comes in wonderful muted colors that work well with each other. I keep buying more!
Nice shine! Easy to knit with, I am making a shawl.
Knit a sweater (The Glacier Cardigan on Ravelry - the one with the Celtic braid yoke). The color (113-Teal) is gorgeous and the yarn is very easy on the hands. Love the color!
All yarns Valley are loved and used for something. Not sure what in this case
I enjoyed knitting with this yarn.
