Product Description
Vampolka mitts are a super quick knit and need only a small amount of yarn. The three skeins of Shibui Sock are perfectly enough yarn to make all three color variations shown. Time to turn your whole family into little vampires!
My husband is a huge fan of Devin Townsend, and when I heard his song “Vampolka” it instantly got me hooked. It has a catchy tune and it’s a little crazy, like most of his songs. Apart from the haunting melody I couldn’t forget the name as well: Vampolka. It’s just a little crazy and I asked myself over and over: How on earth did this band have the idea for a marriage between vampire and polka, two things that obviously have nothing in common? And how could it be that in the end everything worked out perfectly in a way that everyone would say “A vampire and polka? Yeah sure, I had thought of combining these two as well!”
Anyway, I started thinking about a way to bring these two together in knitting..
Shown in Shibui Knits Sock. A substitute is shown below
